Exciting Announcement: HADO Junior National Championship 2025

The HADO Junior National Championship 2025 is set to take place on December 13, 2025, at HADO ARENA in Odaiba, Tokyo. This annual event has rapidly become the premier competition for elementary school students involved in the innovative AR sport known as HADO. After being successfully held since 2022, this year's championship promises to be the largest gathering of aspiring young players from across Japan.

The competition welcomes participants from various HADO Junior Academies located in Yamagata, Tokyo, Saitama, Osaka, Kumamoto, and Okinawa. Notably, starting this year, the event has expanded its accessibility, allowing any elementary school student with prior HADO experience to join, opening the doors for even more children to participate and showcase their skills.

What Is HADO?

HADO is a unique sport that blends physical activity with digital technology, creating a new genre termed “techno-sport.” Participants wear headsets and motion sensors to engage in thrilling matches, utilizing energy balls and shields in their gameplay. The rules are straightforward, yet the gameplay requires strategic thinking, teamwork, and decision-making, making it suitable for everyone, regardless of their physical abilities. This concept of inclusivity is why HADO has gained traction not just in Japan, but across 39 countries worldwide.

Championship Details

The championship will feature:

• - Event Name: HADO Junior National Championship 2025
• - Date: December 13, 2025
• - Time: 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM (subject to change based on the number of participating teams)
• - Venue: HADO ARENA Odaiba
• - Eligibility: Elementary school students with HADO experience
• - Entry Fees:

- 12,000 JPY per team for teams from HADO Junior Academies
- 18,000 JPY per team for general participants (3 to 6 members)

• - Event Format: Block preliminaries followed by a final tournament (drawn on the day)
• - Live Streaming: The final tournament will be broadcast live on YouTube.
• - Admission: Free, no registration required for spectators.

• - 12:30 PM - 1:15 PM: Reception
• - 1:00 PM - 1:30 PM: Venue Opens
• - 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM: Opening Ceremony
• - 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM: Preliminaries
• - 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM: Final Tournament
