His previous role as Chief Business Officer at Ursa Major had him steering the company through a fruitful growth phase. Nicholson's resume also includes leadership positions at industry giants like L3 Technologies, Honeywell, and CAE. Moreover, he has significant experience in government relations, having spent over ten years on the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations.

Nicholson's rich educational background includes a Master of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and a Master of Science in Resource Policy, both from the University of Michigan, alongside a Bachelor of Science with High Honors in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the United States Coast Guard Academy.
