Mitsui & Co. Urban Development Launches New Office Project

Mitsui & Co. Urban Development, headquartered in Minato City, Tokyo, announced the commencement of construction for the "(Tentative Name) Nishishinbashi 2-chome Office Plan". This exciting project is set to kick off in April 2026, marking a significant addition to the Tokyo skyline.

The site is strategically located just a 7-minute walk from Shimbashi Station and a 5-minute walk from Toranomon Station, nestled in a historically vibrant business area. The Nishishinbashi region has witnessed a revival in recent years, with substantial redevelopment projects in Toranomon. This area is conducive for business, offering easy access to government offices and major commercial hubs.

The new building will feature approximately 52 tsubo (about 171 square meters) of office space on each standard floor, complete with designated areas for work, communication, and meetings. The northern side of the building facing the main road will include a full balcony, promoting an open, uplifting environment for tenants. The office will cater to a single tenant on each floor, allowing for a bespoke office layout across its 10 stories.

Furthermore, the ground floor will house a 20 tsubo (approximately 66 square meters) restaurant, contributing to the vibrant atmosphere along the Karasumori Street, which connects the bustling Shimbashi area to the upscale Toranomon district.
