New Coalition Member Operation Light Shine Joins the Fight Against Child Exploitation

New Addition to the Interstate Justice Coalition

Minneapolis, October 10, 2025 – Our Rescue, in collaboration with partners in the Interstate Justice Coalition (IJC), Skull Games Solutions, and We Fight Monsters, has officially welcomed Operation Light Shine (OLS) into their ranks. This partnership marks a significant enhancement in the coalition's efforts to combat sex trafficking and child exploitation throughout the United States.

The IJC is a dynamic collaboration that works tirelessly to aid law enforcement in dismantling trafficking networks and rescuing survivors. Their latest operational success saw 32 rescues and 15 arrests, showcasing a strong commitment to results-driven strategies. OLS is spearheaded by CEO Bryan Weight, who brings a proven Intercept Task Force model that coordinates federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies alongside non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to expedite child rescues, apprehend offenders, and recover digital evidence. This strategic integration increases national coordination by equipping regional task forces with essential resources, state-of-the-art technology, and targeted training necessary to tackle trafficking networks effectively.

"The battle against child exploitation and trafficking transcends any single organization, which is why we feel privileged to partner with Our Rescue, Skull Games, and We Fight Monsters," stated Bryan Weight. "Our combined efforts unite law enforcement expertise, training, technology, and survivor support to dismantle these tragic networks and protect innocent lives. This coalition represents a powerful collective step forward, demonstrating that by coming together with a shared mission, we can illuminate paths to hope and achieve a much greater impact."

Derek Benner, CEO of Our Rescue, described the addition of OLS as a meaningful enhancement to their coalition. "Their Intercept Task Force model aligns seamlessly with the IJC's mission to unify public and private entities against trafficking and exploitation. We warmly welcome their contributions to this crucial cause," he noted.

Ben Owen, Co-Founder of We Fight Monsters, emphasized the value of OLS's operational know-how, which will significantly expedite the process of locating victims, ensuring their safety, and placing traffickers behind bars. "By amalgamating our unique capabilities surrounding technology, intelligence, and survivor-centered recovery with OLS's extensive resources, we're proving once again that collaboration is our most potent weapon in the fight to protect children."

The Interstate Justice Coalition brings together nonprofit and law enforcement partners to carry out intelligence-driven, multi-state surge operations aimed at rescuing and recovering victims of trafficking and child exploitation. These operations intelligently leverage digital forensics, open-source intelligence (OSINT), and robust collaboration with law enforcement to identify victims while apprehending the culprits behind these heinous crimes.

While many operational specifics are kept confidential to safeguard ongoing cases, the coalition is founded on four core principles:
1. Alignment of nonprofit partners, including Our Rescue, Skull Games Solutions, We Fight Monsters, and now, Operation Light Shine.
2. Collaboration across multiple law enforcement agencies.
3. Swift, impactful surge operations supported by community involvement.
4. Real-time coordination spanning numerous states.

The newly expanded coalition is gearing up for the next surge operation in late 2025, aimed at bolstering domestic collaboration and fast-tracking effective outcomes nationwide.
