Mukai started his career in 2002 at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, where he specialized in battery technologies, including nickel-metal hydride, lithium-ion, and sodium-ion batteries. Establishing ATTACCATO LLC in 2014 to bridge technology and other fields, he has since driven innovation in battery materials and systems. In 2026, he also founded ATTACCATO PLATECH CO., LTD, serving as its vice president. His specialties encompass battery material systems, secondary batteries for special environments, and battery intellectual property strategies.
