From August 6 to 17, 2026, Akafuku will set up a special pop-up store at both terminals of Haneda Airport to celebrate summer with its limited-time offer of 'Water Yokan.' Located at the departure lobby near security check C in Terminal 1 and the Market Place event space in Terminal 2, the store will be a must-visit for travelers and sweet enthusiasts alike.

The star of this seasonal event is the 'Water Yokan,' which highlights the richness of Hokkaido azuki beans crafted into a smooth and pleasantly sweet jelly-like dessert. This delicacy is perfect for a refreshing tea time during the hot summer months. Each portion can be conveniently cut into your preferred size after chilling, offering a delightful way to enjoy traditional Japanese sweets.

The Water Yokan comes carefully packed in a special insulated bag with ice packs, making it ideal as a souvenir or a treat during your summer travels, particularly for those returning home or on vacation.

In addition to Water Yokan, visitors can enjoy other delicacies from Akafuku, including the popular 'Akafuku Mochi,' 'Shiro Mochi,' and 'Kuro Mochi.' Starting at 10 AM daily, these traditional sweet treats will be available.
