109 Cinemas Premium Shinjuku is set to host its first-ever domestic screening of the special extended editions of The Lord of the Rings trilogy. From May 9 to May 29, 2025, fans of this iconic fantasy series will have the opportunity to enjoy these extended versions in 2D format, a first for Japan!

These celebrated films, directed by Peter Jackson, have captured the hearts of millions worldwide. The trilogy received a staggering 11 Academy Awards and became a significant cultural phenomenon. Ticket Information

Prices for tickets will remain consistent with standard rates:

• - CLASS S: ¥6,500 (¥6,000 for cinema point members)
• - CLASS A: ¥4,500 (¥4,000 for cinema point members)

Purchasers will be able to enjoy access to a premium lounge one hour before their showtime. Additionally, complimentary soft drinks and popcorn will be provided as part of the ticket package. For CLASS S ticket holders, a further treat awaits in the exclusive premium lounge named OVERTURE following their film.
