FXIFY Returns for Earth Day 2025 with WeForest to Fight Deforestation

FXIFY and WeForest Join Forces Again for Earth Day 2025

In a commendable move towards environmental sustainability, FXIFY™, recognized as the oldest broker-backed proprietary trading firm, has proudly announced that it will continue its partnership with the nonprofit organization WeForest. After the success of the previous year's initiative, which saw the planting of 15,400 trees by over 5,000 traders and the restoration of 14 hectares of degraded land in Butiama Hills, Tanzania, FXIFY is ready to take its Earth Day campaign to new heights in 2025. This year, the firm aims to plant over 15,000 additional trees, demonstrating a commitment to both environmental stewardship and community support.

Peter Brown, Co-Founder of FXIFY, stated, "At FXIFY, growth has always meant more than mere numbers on a screen. We are proud to contribute to reforestation efforts that not only benefit the planet but also support local communities living in these regions." This partnership allows traders to engage in climate action while participating in funded trading challenges. For every funded trading challenge purchased during the campaign, a tree will be planted in collaboration with WeForest, an organization devoted to restoring threatened forest ecosystems through scientifically backed and locally led projects.

This year’s reforestation initiative in the Butiama Hills region will focus on areas significantly impacted by deforestation and land degradation. WeForest’s work in this area aims to rehabilitate degraded lands while providing clean water, enhancing biodiversity, and promoting sustainable job opportunities for local communities, particularly women. Through initiatives like beekeeping and agroforestry training, WeForest empowers these communities to develop sustainable livelihoods. The overall objective is to restore 3,868 hectares of forest in this vital region.

Last year's Earth Day campaign left a lasting legacy with 15,400 trees planted, which are projected to store an estimated 1,330 tonnes of CO₂ over the next two decades. This year, FXIFY is full of enthusiasm, aiming to repeat and amplify this impact. "We are incredibly proud of our traders for showing up not just for themselves but for a cause larger than individual gain," added Brown. "This campaign clearly shows that trading can do more than increase your financial assets; it can help cultivate a better world."
