In this pivotal role, Kerr will directly report to Scott Tapp, CEO of Trella Health, and will spearhead the company’s technology vision and innovation strategy, enhancing its roadmap for scalable and intelligent workflow solutions.

Kerr’s proven track record in building agile and high-performing teams will be instrumental in propelling Trella’s capabilities forward, particularly in providing healthcare organizations with enhanced visibility into care quality, growth metrics, and performance.

David Kerr brings over 25 years of experience in technology leadership, focusing primarily on enterprise software, data platforms, and digital transformation. Before joining Trella Health, he served as CTO at Forcura, where he was responsible for overseeing the strategic development of EHR integrations and business intelligence solutions aimed at post-acute care workflows and communication. His tenure at Forcura includes driving product innovation and scalability.

At Trella Health, Kerr's responsibilities will encompass the overarching technology strategy of the organization—leading engineering, infrastructure developments, and expanding AI and data capabilities. He is committed to evolving Trella’s platform to enable smarter decision-making and operational efficiency throughout the continuum of care.

He earned both a Bachelor of Science and MBA in Statistics from Colorado State University, holds a Data Science certificate from Harvard, and is pursuing a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from CSU Global. Notably, he is also a U.S. Navy Veteran, having served in the nuclear program.
