Lotte Group Set to Shine at Licensing Japan 2026
Lotte Holdings, headquartered in Shinjuku, Tokyo, has announced its participation in the 19th Licensing Japan, set to take place at Tokyo Big Sight from June 17 to June 19, 2026. This marks the company's second exhibition following their debut last year.
Since entering the content IP business in July 2024, Lotte Holdings has been capitalizing on the synergies of the Japan-Korea Lotte Group to globally promote captivating Japanese content and introduce popular Korean content to the Japanese market. At this exhibition, Lotte Group aims to connect with potential partners to explore new markets and customer touchpoints through their diverse offerings. They are also seeking licensors interested in leveraging the Lotte Group's networks for global expansion, starting from Japan, Korea, and across Asia.

Bellygom
Bellygom, a hugely popular character from Lotte Home Shopping in Korea, comes with over 1.8 million total followers on social media. Lotte Holdings secured the master licensing agreement for Japan in March 2024 and is keen to launch the character extensively. Plans for 2026 include collaborations with famous influencers in short dramas, the release of official comics on social media, and the establishment of permanent merchandise locations primarily centered in Tokyo. These exciting ventures will enhance Bellygom's character engagement, reaching a wider audience of fans.
A reminder for fans: Bellygom also features at the booth of Small Planet (Booth No. 30-26). Lotte Holdings and Small Planet entered into a strategic business alliance in January 2026 to foster collaboration.

Since its launch in 1957, the beloved Green Gum has remained a favorite across generations and is set to celebrate its 70th anniversary in 2027. The 'Lotte Ital-Gum 70th Anniversary Project' is now in full swing, utilizing the iconic logo and retro packaging to inspire various promotional activities and merchandise. Lotte is seeking partner companies to help commemorate this landmark event.
