Rice University has introduced the Institute of Health Resilience and Innovation (IHRI), a groundbreaking initiative dedicated to investigating the long-term impacts of health stressors and crafting targeted strategies for enhancing well-being among various populations. This new institute is a testament to the university's dedication to pioneering advancements in health and resilience.
The institute is spearheaded by director Christopher Fagundes, who is also a professor of psychological sciences, along with deputy director Tony Brown, a distinguished professor of sociology, and executive director Kristi English.
