Woodforest National Bank Takes Center Stage at Texas Flood Relief Benefit Concert
In a powerful display of community spirit, Woodforest National Bank is stepping up as one of the three presenting sponsors for the highly anticipated Band Together Texas benefit concert. Set to occur on August 17, 2025, at the Moody Center in Austin, this event aims to raise crucial support for communities that were devastated by the catastrophic floods that struck on July 4, 2025.
The concert, featuring an impressive lineup of renowned artists, promises an unforgettable evening filled with music and solidarity. Featured performers include some of country music’s finest, such as Miranda Lambert, Kelly Clarkson, Parker McCollum, Cody Johnson, Ronnie Dunn, and many others. Moreover, there will be special appearances by beloved actors like Matthew McConaughey and Dennis Quaid, as well as sports legends including Roger Clemens and Vince Young.
The tragic floods impacted the hill country region, resulting in a loss of over 130 lives and displacing numerous residents. Homes and livelihoods were decimated, leaving families and communities struggling to find their footing once again. In light of this tragedy, Band Together Texas has rallied artists, celebrities, and civic leaders with the goal of driving relief efforts and ensuring long-term recovery.
Robert E. Marling Jr., Chairman and CEO of Woodforest National Bank, expressed the bank’s commitment to the community, stating, “Community is at the heart of everything we do. We are honored to be among the presenting sponsors for an event that not only entertains but serves as a beacon of hope for those in need.” The bank has a long-standing reputation for supporting its local communities, and this event aligns with their mission of fostering resilience and providing crisis relief.
The Band Together Texas concert is not only a fundraiser but also a gathering that emphasizes the importance of collective action during times of need. It serves as a reminder that the people of Texas support one another in times of adversity. Alongside Woodforest National Bank, the Dell Foundation and the Peace, Love, Happiness Foundation will be co-sponsors of the event, working in synergy to maximize the impact of the concert.
