Mike Earman Joins Scholars Network
On October 2, 2026, Scholars Network, which operates under the Noodle umbrella, proudly announced the appointment of Mike Earman as the new Vice President of Health System Partnerships. This pivotal role is designed to fortify relationships between healthcare systems and educational institutions to create robust talent pipelines for the clinical workforce.
Mike Earman, a seasoned leader in healthcare workforce management and SaaS technology, steps into this position with more than ten years of expertise collaborating with healthcare providers. Prior to joining Scholars Network, Earman was with Laudio, a pioneering AI-driven platform that aids health systems in proactively engaging and retaining their workforce. Under his stewardship, Laudio transitioned from a startup phase to serving over 150 hospitals before being acquired by Ascend Learning in 2025.
Before his time at Laudio, Earman spent nearly a decade at Relias, a leading innovator in healthcare education technology and analytics. His tenure there included significant roles focused on enhancing partnerships with health and human service providers. His accomplishments at Relias encompassed a variety of strategic mergers and acquisitions that helped shape the company's engagement with large health systems.
Earman's wealth of experience gives him an intimate understanding of the challenges that health systems encounter—particularly when it comes to recruiting, developing, and retaining skilled clinical staff. As he takes the reins at Scholars Network, he aims to communicate this awareness within the organization’s mission: bridging the gap between healthcare employers and the educational institutions that supply their workforce.
"Throughout my career, I have focused on providing tangible solutions for health systems, and the ongoing challenge of retaining qualified healthcare professionals continues to grow each year," Earman stated. "Interestingly, many healthcare organizations are often expending more resources on recruitment and retention than on the actual education of these professionals. Scholars Network and Noodle are strategically positioned to tackle this challenge. By leveraging Scholars Network, healthcare systems can construct sustainable talent foundations, students can find manageable and clear pathways into healthcare careers, and educational institutions gain invaluable insights to enhance and expand their programs based on community needs."
Earman obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He resides on the picturesque coast of North Carolina with his wife and two daughters, where they enjoy a balanced family life amid the natural beauty of the area.
