CHOC Walk in the Park 2026: A Community Tradition Continues
The CHOC Walk in the Park, a cherished 5K fundraising event, is set to make its grand return on
August 2, 2026. The Disneyland Resort proudly presents this annual occurrence that gathers individuals and families to support the noble cause of pediatric health. This walk aims to raise funds for Rady Children's Health, previously known as CHOC, which serves as a leading pediatric healthcare system in Southern California.
Proceeds from this event will contribute significantly to pediatric programs, specialty care, education, and research initiatives at Rady Children's Hospital. This financial support ensures that children receive exceptional care, regardless of their family’s economic circumstances.
A Magical Morning in the Parks
As the sun rises, participants embark on an unforgettable journey along a scenic, approximately three-mile route through both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. The early hours before the parks open offer a unique and festive atmosphere, filled with familiar sights and fleeting moments of Disney magic that make this event second to none.
In 2025, the CHOC Walk saw over
6,500 participants representing
350 teams, collectively raising an impressive
$3 million to enhance children's health and well-being. The sense of community and commitment to fostering better lives for children is palpable.
