New Launch of Coco Wood® FS Series

Ollica Industries, headquartered in Osaka, Japan, is excited to announce the upcoming release of its FS series of eco-friendly wooden containers under the Coco Wood® brand. This new lineup will be available starting July 1, 2025, and will coincide with a revamp of the existing FA series products, making them more affordable for customers.

Background for New Product Development

Balancing Cost Reduction and Environmental Responsibility

The FS series features a legless design that not only reduces costs but also maintains high functionality, thanks to the innovative use of our proprietary Falcatta wood. Previously, the FA series offered excellent performance but we recognized the need for a more streamlined option that doesn't compromise on quality. The FS series meets this demand by providing a refined appearance with greater affordability, thereby expanding the choices available to our customers across various usage scenarios.

Significant Improvements in Transparent Lid Performance

One of the standout features of both the FS and FA series is the original-designed transparent lid. We have made substantial enhancements to its fitting performance, which greatly improves on-site stability during usage and consequently reduces the labor burden on workers. The eco-friendly transparent lids, made of recycled PET material with anti-fog treatment, further ensure that functionality is paired with sustainability.

Features of the Coco Wood® Series

Reducing Environmental Impact

Our products utilize quickly renewable resources from Southeast Asia, specifically the Falcatta tree, which can sequester CO₂ and promote circular usage due to its rapid growth cycle of 5-7 years. After use, the containers can be incinerated or composted, minimizing waste.

Compact Design for Enhanced Logistics Efficiency

The FLR series, featuring tapered round shapes, achieves an approximate 40% reduction in volume, while our FD series offers around an 87% decrease compared to previous models. This significant reduction in storage and transportation costs is a key benefit of the new designs.

Food-Grade and High-Performance

The surface of the containers is treated with either glassine or OPP lamination to withstand moisture, oil, and high temperatures, making them suitable for microwave and freezer use. This blend of natural wood aesthetics and high performance sets the Coco Wood® series apart in the market.

Consistent Quality at Low Prices

All products are diligently managed through our fully integrated system in our Indonesia-based factory, from raw material procurement to product inspection. Regular factory audits ensure quality is consistently upheld.
