The Donald M. Ephraim Sun & Stars International Film Festival© (SASIFF) is back for its fourth edition, which will take place from January 25 to February 6, 2026. This year’s festival promises an exciting lineup of films from Israel and those touching on Jewish themes, encapsulated in a vibrant series of screenings across various venues in Palm Beach County, Florida.

Three venues will host these screenings: the Rinker Playhouse at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts from January 25 to 31, followed by Hooky Entertainment Delray from February 1 to 5, and culminating at the new Glazer Hall in Palm Beach on February 6.

The Features


This year’s festival will feature five notable films that are sure to resonate with Jewish film enthusiasts. The films include:
1. Ethan Bloom (Coming-of-age Comedy, 2025) – This charming film explores the awkwardness of adolescence as a teenager, portrayed by Hank Greenspan, navigates the difficulties of losing his mother, grappling with faith, and facing his father's expectations. The film serves as the opening night feature on January 25, full of humor, heart, and poignant moments.

2. Dead Language (Mystery, 2025) – A narrative that begins at the Tel Aviv Airport takes an intriguing twist when Aya, played by Sarah Adler, opts for adventure by departing with a stranger instead of her husband. This North Palm Beach County premiere will screen on January 26 and expands on an Oscar-nominated short, delving into themes of identity and longing.

3. Frontier (Frontera) (WWII Thriller, 2025) – Set against the backdrop of World War II, this film reveals the moral dilemmas faced by a community divided by war and the complex choices of an agent involved in assisting Jewish refugees. Premiering on January 28, the film promises tension and emotional depth.

4. The Pianist's Choice (La Choix du Pianiste) (WWII Drama, 2024) – Exploring the conflicts experienced by a talented pianist and the impact of war on his life and relationships, this film will have its North Palm Beach County premiere on January 27. It artfully displays the personal struggles of love and ambition amidst the horrors of conflict.

5. The Tasters (WWII Drama, 2025) – A gripping tale of survival, this film portrays the chilling experiences of women forced to taste food for Hitler during wartime. With themes of fear and intrigue, it will close the festival’s lineup on January 29.
