Rokid Makes Its Empowering Appearance at VivaTech 2026 in Paris
Rokid at VivaTech 2026: A Step Towards Innovation and Accessibility
Rokid, a global leader in AI-driven smart glasses and human-computer interaction, made its debut at the renowned VivaTech 2026 event in Paris. The tech showcase highlighted the company's commitment to innovation through augmented reality technology. Rokid is not just presenting its cutting-edge products but also significantly enhancing their availability in France by collaborating with Krys, a major optician chain. This partnership aims to make Rokid's advanced eyewear more accessible to the French market, ensuring that both tech enthusiasts and the everyday consumer can experience the future of augmented reality right at their fingertips.
During the event, Rokid utilized the "Champs-Élysées Showcase" to mark the 10th anniversary of VivaTech, where the company displayed how its innovative AI ecosystem, combined with its smart glasses, can improve both productivity and daily life for users. The flagship devices, the Rokid Glasses equipped with micro-LED displays and the display-less Rokid Ai Glasses Neo, are now officially available in France. These products incorporate features such as real-time translations in 89 languages, transcription services, and visual search capabilities powered by various AI assistants, solidifying Rokid's place as an everyday tool rather than a luxury item.
The collaboration with Krys is a pivotal move for Rokid, facilitating the introduction of its entire product range in physical retail stores, thereby broadening its market reach. Krys will not only enhance product availability but also enable customers to find glasses tailored to their vision needs, thereby strengthening Rokid's European supply chain and paving the way for future achievements within the continent. Furthermore, Rokid's smart glasses will soon be available at major local online retailers like Fnac, Darty, Cdiscount, and Boulanger, expanding its distribution and easing access for potential buyers.
"Participating in VivaTech marks another milestone for our European strategy," remarked Zoro Shao, General Manager of Rokid Global. "Interacting with tech enthusiasts, industry leaders, and experts highlighted that smart glasses are becoming an integral part of everyday life and there is still much potential yet to be realized."
Rokid's participation in this prestigious event follows its entry into the German market earlier this year, marking a significant expansion of the company’s footprint in Europe. Additionally, Rokid's glass series recently garnered worldwide attention, raising nearly $4 million through Makuake, a Japanese crowdfunding platform, making it the most anticipated product on the site. This robust global demand reflects Rokid’s ongoing development and innovation in the tech landscape.
The Rokid Glasses are priced at €699, while the Rokid Ai Glasses Neo are available for €449, establishing them as competitive entries within the smart eyewear market. Founded in 2014, Rokid has positioned itself as a pioneer in augmented reality (AR) and AI solutions, integrating seamless intelligence into everyday experiences. The company has introduced the first open AI ecosystem for wearables, showcasing a dual-chip architecture and enabling multilingual voice interaction alongside intuitive AI shortcuts in its smart eyewear.
