The Upcoming What Cafe Exhibition: From Here to Eternity

WHAT CAFE, an art gallery cafe owned by TERRADA Warehouse Co., is set to host an exciting exhibition from January 10 to January 25, 2026. Titled "WHAT CAFE EXHIBITION vol.44: From Here to Eternity - The Current Developments of the TERRADA ART AWARD 2015 Recipients," this exhibition aims to showcase the artistic evolution of 15 acclaimed artists who were recognized in the 2015 edition of the TERRADA ART AWARD.

The TERRADA ART AWARD initiative, launched in 2014, seeks to support emerging artists, while WHAT CAFE, since its opening in 2020, has provided a platform for showcasing and selling works from young creators. This collaboration highlights their mutual dedication to fostering artistic talent.

During this exhibition, visitors will have the chance to see the works of the award-winning artists, both from the past and their recent creations. By curating a presentation that juxtaposes earlier pieces with new works, the exhibition will trace the journey and development of these artists over the years.

To further enhance the experience, organizers have included artist interviews that reflect on their careers since their award win. These remarks will be displayed alongside the artworks, offering insights into their experiences and aspirations in the art world. Selected finalists, such as Daisuke Kuroda and Yuki Kobayashi, alongside others, will unveil their works in a personal exhibition format.
