Tokyo Dome Hotel Celebrates 26th Anniversary with Exquisite Cakes and New Seasonal Delights

As the Tokyo Dome Hotel approaches its 26th anniversary, it is set to delight guests with a special limited-edition cake and seasonal sweets. Starting June 1, 2026, the hotel’s skilled pastry chef introduces the "Jardin de Fruits" (Garden of Fruits) anniversary cake, a celebration of the occasion with a spectacular design featuring an array of luxurious fruits. Only 10 of these beautiful cakes will be available each day, making it a rare treat for cake lovers.

The cake itself is a testament to the creativity of the hotel's culinary team. Using fluffy sponge as the base, it is layered with strawberries and adorned with vibrant combinations of melons, mangoes, Shine Muscat grapes, blueberries, and white peaches. It boasts an elegant finish, wrapped in delicate finger biscuits that encase the dazzling fruits like sparkling jewels. Prices for the specially crafted cake are set at JPY 3,800 for take-out and JPY 4,450 for those who wish to enjoy it in the comfort of the hotel's lobby lounge, the Garden Terrace. This experience, alongside a relaxing atmosphere, invites guests to indulge in both taste and ambiance.

The anniversary cake is available until June 30, 2026, at the Garden Terrace from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM (last order at 7:30 PM). All prices include tax and service charges, ensuring a stress-free experience when you decide to treat yourself or a loved one. Reservations can be made by calling the lounge directly at +81-3-5805-2201 during operating hours.

Along with the anniversary cake, two exciting new seasonal sweets will also hit the menu during this timeframe. The first is "Le cygne" (The Swan), inspired by the elegance of swans. This fine creation features poached white peaches and jasmine tea gelée enveloping a smooth cream cheese brûlée, all encased in a light white peach mousse. The perfect blend of creamy and crunchy textures will surely tantalize sweet lovers.

The second new offering is the "Miyazaki Mango Roll," highlighting the luscious sweetness and aromatic fragrance of mangoes grown in Miyazaki Prefecture. Rolled in a fluffy sponge and whipped cream, this dessert is a must-try for anyone who enjoys fruity delicacies. Each of these seasonal delights is priced at JPY 1,000 for take-out and JPY 1,170 for in-house dining, available from June 1 to August 31, 2026.

Chef Kenji Nagashima, the head pastry chef, dedicates himself to crafting memorable sweets that symbolize joy, with a focus on the origins and seasonal qualities of ingredients. He believes that these creations are perfect for celebrating special moments or enjoying as a well-deserved treat.

The Garden Terrace itself is designed as a serene oasis within the bustling cityscape, where patrons can unwind and enjoy a medley of drinks and pastries while surrounded by the soothing visuals of indoor fountains. This inviting atmosphere enhances the overall experience of indulging in these exquisite cakes and sweets.

Located at the heart of Tokyo, the Tokyo Dome Hotel opened its doors on June 1, 2000, and has since become a prominent destination for both business and leisure travelers. With cutting-edge facilities, including 1,006 guest rooms and a variety of dining options within its 43-story structure, the hotel firmly embraces its role as a hub for entertainment and relaxation.
