A Tribute to Shigeo Nagashima: Special Advertisements at Tokyo Dome

In a heartfelt tribute to the late Shigeo Nagashima, Secom Co., Ltd. is showcasing a collection of his historic advertisements at Tokyo Dome. This special presentation coincides with the official games of the Yomiuri Giants from June 17 to June 29 and highlights Nagashima's lasting legacy as Secom's brand ambassador over the past 35 years.

Honoring a Legend

Shigeo Nagashima, who has been a prominent figure in Japanese baseball history, served as Secom's brand ambassador since 1990. He appeared in numerous television commercials and advertisements, becoming a beloved face of the brand. Since 1994, his iconic image has graced the big board on the light stand side of Tokyo Dome, now known as the main vision.

To honor Nagashima’s passing, Secom will display a selection of 15 different advertisement designs that reflect his journey from 1994 to 2025. Each game will showcase two varying designs daily, allowing fans to appreciate the breadth of Nagashima's contributions and the numerous campaigns he was part of.

Accompanying these visual tributes, the advertisements bear the title “SECOM BIG BOARD HISTORY” along with the years in which each design was featured, concluded with the heartfelt message, “Mr. Nagashima, thank you for the emotions.”
