About Reelu Japan Guide

Reelu Japan Guide is a comprehensive guide service dedicated to bringing the essence of Japan to visitors from around the globe. We strive to deliver not just places, but the stories, traditions, and nuances that make Japan unique. Our approach is rooted in three core values:

1. Respect the Culture
Every region has its traditions and history, and we honor them by providing tours that allow guests to connect deeply with their surroundings.

2. Represent Japan with Pride
As a guide, you become the face of Japan to international guests, and we encourage each guide to carry this responsibility with pride.

3. Create Once-in-a-Lifetime Memories
For many, their trip to Japan may be a one-time experience. It’s vital to make those moments memorable and impactful.

Guide Areas of Operation

Currently, we are looking for guides to lead tours in:

- Tokyo Metropolitan Area (Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Saitama)
- Kansai Region (Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo)
- Other Regions (Hokkaido, Okinawa, Aichi, Fukuoka)

Language Requirements

- Proficiency in English or Chinese is a must. We expect candidates to have conversational skills (TOEIC around 800 is a good reference, but we encourage everyone to apply).

- Love to make others happy.
- Are eager to share and promote Japanese culture and history.
- Can approach their responsibilities with a strong sense of professionalism.

Feeling unsure about your language skills? Join our information session to understand more about the role. Even if you don’t qualify, you can gain experience through short-term gigs that utilize your language skills.

Current Guides

Our team is diverse, with students who have experienced life abroad, professionals who work flexible hours, and those leveraging their experience in tourism. We also invite tour guides with prior experience to join our team at their own pace.

Application Flow

1. Register for our information session.
2. Attend the online session.
3. Complete a language proficiency check.
4. Successful candidates will proceed to field tests.
5. Officially debut as a Reelu guide! 🎉
