Envision Energy Celebrates Milestone in Two-Blade Wind Turbine Technology with Record Stability
Envision Energy's Groundbreaking Wind Turbine Technology
Envision Energy, a prominent force in green technology, has recently announced a major milestone in the realm of wind power innovation. The company’s advanced two-blade onshore turbine prototype has impressively maintained stable operations for over 500 days, achieving a remarkable availability rate of 99.3%. This accomplishment positions Envision's turbine on equal footing with traditional three-blade variants at the same installation site.
The prototype, engineered on Envision's innovative Model X onshore platform, incorporates a modular design complemented by a high-speed Doubly-Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) technology that enhances stability and operational efficiency. Its lightweight construction and system-level efficiency make it a formidable option for various green energy applications.
Mr. Lou Yimin, Envision's Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer, stated, “By overcoming significant technical challenges previously associated with two-blade turbines, we are proud to be the first in the industry to validate the long-term operational reliability of this next-generation design.”
Timeline of Innovation
Envision's venture into two-blade technology traces back more than a decade, with significant breakthroughs and prototypes. The journey commenced in 2012 when the Global Innovation Center (GIC) in Denmark developed the **
