In an exciting collaboration, Tirol Choco Co., a well-known confectionery brand based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, has teamed up with Sarutahiko Coffee, a specialty coffee shop, to launch a delightful new product: Tirol Choco's Sarutahiko Coffee Sweet Latte. This treat will hit the shelves of Lawson convenience stores across Japan, excluding Natural Lawson and Lawson Store 100, starting July 14, 2026.
The aim of this collaboration is to enable coffee enthusiasts and snack lovers alike to enjoy the essence of Sarutahiko Coffee's meticulously crafted café latte in a fun and accessible form. By packaging this rich flavor into a petite chocolate piece, Tirol Choco seeks to provide a moment of comfort amidst the busy instances of daily life, whether that’s during work breaks, household chores, or study sessions. Each bite delivers a sense of satisfaction and an enjoyable aftertaste that encourages indulgence and nostalgia.
To capture the authentic flavor of Sarutahiko Coffee, Tirol Choco meticulously incorporated crushed coffee beans into the chocolate blend, enhancing the rich aromas that coffee aficionados cherish. The combination of rich milk-flavored chocolate and café latte cream creates a well-balanced taste that’s not overly sweet, appealing to those who prefer a more refined flavor profile. The smooth melting texture and refreshing aftertaste of the center cream ensure that each bite is both enjoyable and memorable.
The packaging design is just as striking as the product itself. Each individually wrapped piece showcases the Sarutahiko Coffee logo alongside a bold motif inspired by the Sweet Latte bottle. The design emphasizes a sophisticated aesthetic while using soft beige and brown colors reminiscent of café lattes, thus visually conveying the comforting and gentle essence of milk. This, paired with Tirol Choco’s signature vibrant and friendly design style, results in packaging that both exudes quality and remains inviting for customers to pick up and enjoy.
The new Sarutahiko Coffee Sweet Latte will retail for approximately 49 yen per piece (tax included), although availability may vary by store, and products will be sold until stocks run out.
