Celebrating 60 Years of JICA's Overseas Volunteer Program
On November 13, 2025, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) hosted a grand ceremony in Tokyo to mark the 60th anniversary of its Overseas Volunteer Program, which has positively impacted developing countries since its inception in 1965. The event, attended by Their Majesties the Emperor and Empress of Japan, featured a series of speeches, a thought-provoking talk session, and a spectacular fashion show that showcased traditional attires from around the world.
