Mirinda® Unveils its Bold New 'Smile Please' Platform



In an exciting move to promote positivity and spark happiness, Mirinda® has officially unveiled its global initiative called 'Smile Please'. This revitalized platform aims to celebrate everyday joys while showcasing a fresh brand identity that resonates particularly with the younger audience, especially Gen Z. The announcement was made in Purchase, N.Y., on April 28, 2026, by PepsiCo, the parent company of Mirinda.

Today's fast-paced and often stressful lifestyle can overshadow the little moments of happiness that surround us. Mirinda recognizes that a simple smile has the potential to uplift moods and encourage others to join in on the joy. With its refreshing and tangy flavors, Mirinda invites consumers to focus on the brighter side of life and celebrate their moments of joy.

A Retro-Modern Revamp


The new identity boasts a retro-modern aesthetic, developed in-house by PepsiCo's design and innovation team. It features bold typography and Mirinda's iconic color palette, with oversized, vibrant fruit shapes adorning cans and labels. These designs, which resemble half-circles, evoke the uplifting nature of a smile, crafting a distinct visual language that will be consistent across all variations of the product.

Additionally, the logo has received a contemporary refresh, infused with youthful energy, and enhanced through saturated tones and high-contrast designs that highlight the unique flavors while adhering to Mirinda's vibrant personality. Eugene Willemsen, the General Manager of International Beverages at PepsiCo, stated, "Mirinda has always been a symbol of original self-expression, and we are now bringing this spirit to life through a global movement that is fresh, fun, and relevant. In a world filled with busy days and constant noise, a simple reason to smile can be refreshing. Through our new visual identity and the 'Smile Please' platform, we encourage everyone to pause, refresh, and choose moments of joy."

Introducing 'Smile Chain'


As part of the 'Smile Please' platform, Mirinda will also launch the 'Smile Chain' – a digital initiative led by influencers intended to create a ripple effect of positivity. The campaign encourages individuals to share smiles and spread joy, enhancing the community's connection through shared positivity.

Look for the 'Smile Chain' to launch soon as part of this global campaign, which will first activate in markets like India, Pakistan, China, and Uganda, with further expansions into Vietnam and various European and Middle Eastern regions over time.
