Sermatec Unveils Comprehensive Energy Storage Solutions at Intersolar Europe 2026
An Impressive Portfolio
At the Intersolar Europe 2026 exhibition, Sermatec made a significant impact by showcasing its extensive range of innovative energy storage solutions. The company highlighted its capabilities across the energy management spectrum from essential hardware to integrated systems, cloud energy management, and commercial and industrial applications. This underscores Sermatec's dedication to accelerating the global energy transition.
Cutting-Edge Technology for a Sustainable Future
Sermatec unveiled its vertically integrated energy storage systems, including the SERLATTICE liquid-cooled energy storage system with a capacity of 7.04 MWh and an impressive energy density of 477 kWh/m². This system not only optimizes land use but also achieves a Round Trip Efficiency (RTE) of ≥95% on the DC side, demonstrating superior energy conversion performance.
Additionally, a new 6.26 MWh SERLATTICE energy storage system was showcased, featuring both AC and DC integrated architecture that enhances overall system efficiency by 2%. Designed to operate in parallel configurations, it incorporates advanced thermal management technology that reduces self-consumption by 25%, leading to significant cost savings over its lifecycle.
For commercial and industrial applications, Sermatec introduced the EASYCUBE energy storage cabinet, offering a capacity of 261 kWh and a user-friendly plug-and-play setup. This product allows flexible parallel expansion, enabling effective peak arbitrage and the integration of renewable energy sources, thereby enhancing energy resilience.
Intelligent Energy Management Solutions
Beyond hardware advancements, Sermatec introduced its innovative Nebulos energy management platform, which seamlessly integrates software and hardware for energy trading participation and virtual power plant (VPP) aggregation. The system maximizes asset value and includes the MOFS early warning system that predicts thermal leaks, enhancing battery safety through proactive risk management.
Key components exhibited included a 430 kW liquid-cooled energy conversion system and an active balancing unit with 104 strings, showcasing Sermatec’s internal integration capabilities.
Proven Performance Across Various Environments
Sermatec’s technology continues to be validated through its expanding portfolio of international projects, from continental Europe to Mediterranean climates. In Bulgaria, a Sermatec energy storage project optimizes return on investment by participating in spot electricity markets and ancillary services, showcasing its economic performance and rapid grid response.
In Croatia and the Czech Republic, Sermatec's solutions effectively manage winter temperature extremes and fluctuating industrial loads, ensuring continuous power for critical manufacturing operations. Furthermore, projects in Spain have successfully withstood high humidity and coastal salt conditions, affirming the long-term reliability of Sermatec's advanced protective designs and thermal management technologies.
Localized Support for Long-Term Value
Sermatec believes that localized services are key to long-term competitiveness, providing customers with comprehensive lifecycle support through a robust service network located in Central, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe. This model integrates extended warranties, performance assurances, proactive maintenance, corrective repairs, and operational reporting, offering transparent lifecycle costs and predictable financial performance.
Strengthening European Partnerships
On June 24, Sermatec hosted its annual Partners' Night, convening key stakeholders from across the European energy sector. The event provided a platform for leadership talks, product presentations, solution sharing, and discussions on after-sales services, fostering open dialogue about innovations and emerging regional opportunities while reinforcing long-term strategic partnerships.
Supporting the Future of Smart Energy
At Intersolar Europe 2026, Sermatec demonstrated its integrated capabilities, from ongoing technological innovations and diversified application scenarios to localized services and ecosystem development. The company is committed to advancing its vision of becoming a leading operator in smart energy and collaborating with global partners to accelerate the transition toward a smarter, more sustainable, and carbon-neutral energy future.
