This innovative pop-up store, cleverly utilizing a convenience store setting, is designed to bring the virtual world of META TAXI into our reality. Organized by the popular YouTube channel, META TAXI, this event will showcase the unique atmosphere of the META TAXI universe in an engaging real-world environment.

This unique venue may appear to be a standard convenience store from the outside, but upon entering, visitors will find an eclectic mix of familiar snack foods, cup noodles, and shelves adorned with short CDs and records. Coupling the experience with the surprise of discovering META TAXI’s characters, cleverly disguised as store merchandise, guarantees a delightful experience for all participants.

Special Collaboration with Panasony

Adding to the excitement is the collaboration with graphic designer Panasony™, who will feature exclusive character displays and merchandise available only at this event. Attendees can also purchase specially designed apparel, creatively packaged to reflect the style of Record Convenience.

Furthermore, commemorating the two-day display, select goods available at the META TAXI STORE will also be offered at the venue, making it a must-visit for both fans and curious newcomers.

To enhance the experience, all attendees will receive an original sticker as a keepsake, while supplies last. These unique stickers will only be available during this event, creating an additional incentive to visit.

Record Convenience Store: Uniquely situated in Nihombashi, Tokyo, this shop operates as both a throughout pop-up used record shop and convenience store. It is known for hosting diverse events each weekend, including DJ lessons for beginners, making it a vibrant hub for music lovers and the community.

The META TAXI Project

META TAXI is a virtual taxi project centered around a YouTube channel that sprays creativity every Friday at 9 PM. Various artists, comedians, and creators participate in conversation through their avatars, offering exclusive insights and entertainment, all while riding through the neon-lit streets of Tokyo at night.
