Monument Chemical Announces the Appointment of Sarves Peri as New President for 2026

In a significant leadership transition, Monument Chemical has announced the appointment of Sarves Peri as its new President, effective January 1, 2026. Peri succeeds Paul Raymond, who plans to retire in July 2026 after having significantly guided the company through a remarkable phase of growth, operational excellence, and market expansion. Sarves Peri brings an impressive depth of experience, having accumulated over 32 years in the global chemical industry. His career has spanned numerous critical roles across research and development, operations, supply chain management, commercial oversight, and business integration.

Since joining Monument Chemical in 2015, Peri has progressively taken on greater responsibilities. His efforts have been pivotal in enhancing the supply chain infrastructure of the company, propelling initiatives aimed at business excellence, and extending Monument's reach in Europe and within the Solvents segment. Notably, he successfully spearheaded the transformation of Monument’s Renewables Fuels business, driving performance improvements and creating substantial value for its customers.

Peri expressed profound gratitude for being entrusted with this pivotal role, stating, "I'm honored to step into this role and deeply grateful for the trust placed in me. Monument has a strong foundation rooted in technical expertise, commercial excellence, and a commitment to customer partnership. I look forward to working closely with our teams and our customers as we build on that strength, accelerating growth, advancing innovation, and ensuring reliability and integrity for our partners."

Paul Raymond, who has been at the helm since 2020, will continue to support the company through the transition period to ensure the process is seamless. Under his leadership, Monument has further expanded its international footprint, bolstered its manufacturing capabilities, and launched major strategic initiatives, positioning the company for sustained long-term success. Raymond praised Peri, indicating, "Our customers rely on Monument for partnership, dependability, and real problem-solving — and Sarves embodies all of these commitments. He brings strong commercial instincts and a deep commitment to meeting customer needs, and I'm confident he will continue strengthening the relationships that define our success."

Peri's extensive background in the industry was cultivated during his tenure with National Starch, a division of Unilever and ICI, as well as Ingredion, where he held various esteemed leadership positions focused on innovation, operations, and global supply chain management. Sarves holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the State University of New York and an MBA in Finance from New York University. He is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, further emphasizing his commitment to excellence.

Monument Chemical, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, has established itself as a leading provider in the specialty chemicals industry, focusing on the production of solvents, intermediates, specialty fuels, and other bespoke chemical products. The company also offers industry-leading contract manufacturing services. With this leadership change, Monument Chemical plans to further solidify its commitment to innovation, reliability, and customer service as it ventures into the next chapter of its business growth.
