Launch of Sustainable Disaster Preparation with New Kan Set 'Kyucancho Jr 24'

In an innovative move towards sustainable disaster preparedness, DAC Group's Daily Sports Guidance Company has announced the online availability of 'Kyucancho Jr 24 Can Set'. This initiative is a collaboration with Pan Akimoto, a company based in Nasushiobara City, Tochigi Prefecture, which focuses on providing a unique solution to the pressing issue of hunger.

The Kyucancho Project: A Global Response to Hunger

The Kyucancho Project, spearheaded by Pan Akimoto, is a significant endeavor aimed at combating global hunger. This project revolves around the innovative concept of using canned bread for disaster preparedness. These specially developed canned goods have a shelf life of over six months and, when nearing their expiry, are collected and sent to hunger-stricken areas both domestically and internationally, effectively addressing food waste and contributing to social issues.

As a testament to their commitment, DAC Group has integrated the Kyucancho initiative into their corporate ethos. Their slogan, “Social Good & Unique,” embodies their mission to tackle societal challenges through ingenuity. By January 2026, all employees of DAC Group participated in the Kyucancho Project, successfully sending a total of 131 cans. This level of involvement is indicative of the corporate culture at DAC, where each employee feels a sense of responsibility toward sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Customized Experience to Enhance Impact

A hallmark of the Kyucancho Project is its dedication to personalization. Alongside the shipment of goods, participants can create original labels for the cans. DAC Group has taken this initiative a step further by designing labels that resonate with warmth and familiarity, ensuring an engaging experience for recipients, including international audiences. These labels feature charming illustrations that evoke the essence of bread, making the canned goods not just a commodity but a message of hope.

To promote awareness and support for this project, DAC Group is also actively distributing these uniquely designed cans to clients and stakeholders. The goal is to broaden the project's reach while simultaneously fostering a culture of giving and cooperation within the community.
