EP YAYING Unveils Innovative SS27 Collection at MODE Shanghai Fashion Week 2027
EP YAYING's Spring/Summer 2027 Collection at MODE Shanghai Fashion Week
EP YAYING is set to unveil its highly anticipated Spring/Summer 2027 collection during the upcoming MODE Shanghai Fashion Week, taking place from October 8 to 12, 2026, at its Booth F17-01 in Tower T2, Jingyao Hongqiao, Shanghai. This event marks an exciting opportunity for international buyers to experience the brand's latest offerings, deeply rooted in luxury and cultural craftsmanship.
As an established international brand, EP YAYING prides itself on blending world-class materials with traditional Chinese craftsmanship. The collection centers around the theme of the "YAYING Three Treasures," showcasing the brand's steadfast commitment to using natural materials and artisanal methods. Among these treasures are 6A-grade mulberry silk sourced from their organic sericulture base in Ningnan, Sichuan. This premium silk will feature prominently in lightweight spring/summer apparel and textiles, emphasizing the importance of quality in every piece.
Additionally, the collection will introduce the innovative use of snowfield yak down, reflecting EP YAYING’s ongoing collaboration with suppliers from Aba and Nagqu. This sustainable fiber is collected naturally and dyed using environmentally friendly processes, making it perfect for an array of knitwear and light outerwear without compromising on quality or ethics. The signature Alashan "white-on-white" cashmere, about 15.5 microns in thickness, will also be an essential part of this collection. Each cashmere piece boasts QR traceability, allowing customers to connect with the heritage and craftsmanship behind their clothing.
At its exhibition stand, EP YAYING will display a variety of interconnected lines within its main collection. The showcased lines will include the primary line with sophisticated workwear and casual pieces, a contemporary ethnic collection known as Blue Label, and the high-end Red Label. Each collection draws inspiration from rich cultural motifs, including the octagonal-star design and patterns influenced by Miao and Yi cultural heritage. This fusion of tradition and contemporary fashion will cater to diverse occasions, from formal settings to everyday wear.
Furthermore, EP YAYING’s offerings are not limited to clothing alone. They also feature a line of shoes, bags, and accessories, along with products for home living, extending the brand’s lifestyle brand approach into related sectors like tea, ceramics, silk textiles, and garment care essentials.
The brand operates three creative hubs located in Paris, Shanghai, and Jiaxing, alongside a Traditional Chinese Garment Culture Research Building. This setup fosters collaboration among artisans specializing in various techniques, from embroidery and pleating to creating luxurious handbags and cashmere outerwear. The result is a seamless integration of the finest materials, skillfully guiding raw materials from swatches to finished products.
For this season, the presentation aims to shift away from heavy conceptual packaging, focusing instead on tactile material swatches and physical samples. This shift not only enhances buyers' experiences but also provides clarity on construction, order requirements, and sustainable practices—elements vital to modern consumers.
Having participated in the MODE event for the first time in March 2026, this upcoming showcasing represents EP YAYING’s strong commitment to forging long-term relationships with international buyers from Europe, Southeast Asia, the United States, and Central Asia. The brand leverages MODE's innovative trade platform titled "See All • See Together,” aiming to promote its unique offerings based on cultural significance, premium materials, and high craftsmanship instead of competing purely on price.
Founded in 1988 and deeply rooted in the cultural fabric of Jiangnan, EP YAYING continues to evolve, specializing in high-quality natural materials, particularly mulberry silk, yak down, and cashmere. The brand has carved a niche for itself by creating lifestyle products for the modern woman, seamlessly blending work, culture, daily life, and home aesthetics.
