The fair is part of a broader initiative adopted in May by the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which emphasizes the collaboration between power production and consumption areas. It seeks to foster a symbiotic relationship that acknowledges the essential role of the Kashiwazaki-Kariwa Nuclear Power Plant in ensuring a stable electricity supply for the Tokyo metropolitan area.

During the fair, attendees will find a variety of activities, including panel displays that outline the safety measures and operational importance of the nuclear facility. One of the highlights will be a VR video corner, providing a unique and immersive way to understand the plant's impact and its relationship with Niigata’s economic development.

Noteworthy items include Niigata's famous sasa-dango (sweet rice cakes wrapped in bamboo leaves), which has received accolades as a recommended tourism souvenir. Other featured products include a variety of carefully selected Japanese sakes sourced from Niigata Prefecture, reflecting the quality and reputation of the region’s culinary heritage.
