Experience Art and Inclusion at 'HAPPY SMILE ART' in Kanazawa's Hotel

Explore the 'HAPPY SMILE ART' Exhibition in Kanazawa

The Mitsui Garden Hotel Kanazawa will host the 'HAPPY SMILE ART in Mitsui Garden Hotels' exhibition, a remarkable celebration of creativity and inclusivity, from November 1, 2025, to January 8, 2026. Organized in collaboration with the Group Happy Smile Association, this marks the third year for this celebrated event in the heart of Kanazawa.

Over the span of 69 days, 49 captivating artworks will be displayed in the hotel's lobby, including 16 pieces created by talented local artists, showcasing the vibrant art scene of Ishikawa Prefecture. The exhibition aims not only to promote artistic appreciation but also to support the initiatives of local outsider artists facilitated by the Kanazawa Art Studio.

This year's showcase will include contributions from 13 local artists, presenting a wide array of art forms – from paintings to sculptures and installations. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience diverse artistic expressions that transcend traditional boundaries and invite dialogue on creativity and community inclusion.

What is 'HAPPY SMILE ART in Mitsui Garden Hotels'?

The 'HAPPY SMILE ART' initiative aims to break down barriers and make art accessible to everyone, including individuals with disabilities. The exhibition will display and sell art pieces created by these artists, allowing attendees to engage with art personally and meaningfully. Proceeds from the artwork sales will be directed back to the artists through the Group Happy Smile Association. This funding will support their future creative endeavors, fostering an ongoing cycle of artistic expression.

For those wishing to purchase works featured in the exhibition, detailed information can be found on the event's dedicated webpage: HAPPY SMILE ART Event Page.
