Background and Purpose

According to reports from the Electric News and Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun in April and May 2025, TEPCO EP plans to transition to a "new standard menu" in the 2026 fiscal year, contemplating reductions in fixed charges while increasing variable rates.

This change raises concerns for corporations currently utilizing the old standard menu (including business power, high voltage power, and special high voltage power A), as their electricity costs are likely to rise post-2026. The impact of contract renewal timing will notably vary, making early consideration for an "April switch" extremely crucial.

This seminar aims to clarify the critical decision points businesses must consider now, alongside independent model calculations from our company, all within a concise 30-minute presentation.

Additionally, participants who wish for a quotation can provide their usage data post-webinar, allowing us to submit an estimate within five business days. This service greatly assists in expediting decision-making for the April switch.
