Inoac’s New Care Brand 'Sumire' Takes Center Stage at H.C.R. 2025
Inoac Corporation, a leading manufacturer of polyurethane foam with a rich history in polymer materials, is proud to announce that its care products brand 'Sumire' will participate in the Aisa's largest international welfare equipment exhibition, H.C.R. 2025. This prominent event will take place at Tokyo Big Sight from October 8 to 10, 2025.
'We want to emphasize the importance of comfort and satisfaction for both caregivers and care recipients,' said Yasushi Nomura, President of Inoac Corporation. 'We believe our new product line can bring smiles and ease to the caregiving process.'
The H.C.R. exhibition, established in Japan and now recognized as one of Asia's largest showcases, attracts a diverse audience, including welfare facility staff, industry professionals, service providers, manufacturers, and their families. Inoac will showcase its new products, including the 'Facet Care Light Mattress' and 'Support Cushion', at Booth S-5009 in South Hall 4.
During the exhibition, Inoac has arranged daily seminars at their booth, led by a physiotherapist from the Natural Heart Care Network. These sessions will focus on posture assistance and seating strategies utilizing the 'Support Cushion', occurring at various times each day: 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM on October 8 and 9, and 11 AM and 1 PM on October 10. Attendees can join without prior reservation, and all sessions are free of charge, featuring the same content each time.
In addition to its core products, Inoac will also present the innovative 'Whiz Pad', a mattress equipped with monitoring capabilities that can detect bed exits and bodily movements remotely, a testament to their commitment to enhancing caregiving tools.
Furthermore, visitors to the booth will receive exclusive novelties while supplies last, ensuring an engaging experience for everyone who attends.
Introducing the 'Facet Care Light Mattress'
The 'Facet Care Light Mattress' is designed with the concept of “Transforming sleep through turning” and is a collaborative development between Inoac and Ritsumeikan University. This specialized mattress includes essential features for caregiving. Its surface layer, known as the 'soft side', incorporates an inventive hexagonal slit pattern that gently conforms to the body's contours, providing encouragement while distributing pressure evenly to minimize the chance of bottoming out. Beneath lies the supportive 'hard side' that absorbs body variations while offering firm support, making it a reversible mattress catering to individual preferences and conditions.
