Experience Fun and Learning at Oyako Festival in Shibukawa City

Discover the Excitement at the Oyako Festival in Shibukawa City

The Oyako Festival, organized by Palsystem Gunma, is an exciting event designed for families and children, aiming to create memorable experiences as summer vacation comes to an end. Set to take place on August 30th, Saturday, from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Palsystem Shibukawa Center, this festival opens the doors of a logistic facility usually off-limits to the public.

Unveiling the Logistics Facility

Participants of the festival, featuring around 100 families who registered in advance, will get a unique opportunity to tour the newly established delivery center located in Shibukawa City. Guests will explore massive refrigerators and freezers used for storing products, allowing them to experience the cool temperatures where food is kept fresh before it's distributed. Additionally, attendees can admire delivery trucks up close, perfect for capturing some memorable photos for the family album.

Engage in Fun Learning Experiences

The event also emphasizes education surrounding Palsystem's environmental initiatives. Attendees can participate in a game focused on identifying recyclable materials, as well as witness the sorting processes that enable the weekly delivery services. This hands-on approach brings to light the infrastructure behind responsible shopping and sustainable living.

To enhance the experience, families will engage in fun activities like a stamp rally, where they can earn prizes, and a shooting game that promotes food education. This program is designed not just for fun, but for learning about environmental responsibility in a playful setting.

Collaborative Corner: Support for Parenting

In collaboration with the NPO Nobirukko, known for their community support focused on childcare, a dedicated play corner will be available. Children can participate in games such as Oke-dama (bean bag balancing competition) and Onimu Game (a finger billiards-type game), which promote social interaction and skill development while having fun.
