The innovative design studio POETIC CURIOSITY is excited to announce its participation in the first-ever design exhibition alter. 2025, Tokyo, scheduled from November 7th to 9th, 2025, in Nihonbashi, Tokyo. This event will serve as a platform for next-generation creators, promoting prototyping and collaboration to explore alternative approaches to product design.

Alter. aims to feature new perspectives on existing values and expressions, gathering renowned designers and artists who are making significant strides in the industry. A total of 11 carefully selected projects, comprised of 56 creators from around the globe, will showcase their innovative designs.

As part of this esteemed event, POETIC CURIOSITY will present a new work titled ‘Forms of Invisibility’ from their POETIC PROTOTYPING series. This installation explores the concept of invisible poetic existence through unique design approaches. Attendees are encouraged to experience the sensory journey that this installation offers.

Statement: Forms of Invisibility

The installation takes the viewer on an imaginative exploration where words ride the wind, transforming into bubbles. It embodies healing from separation and prompts reflections on the nature of time and tactile experiences. By examining physical values like coins alongside intangible stories, the creators invite the audience to discover their personal landscapes and engage with poetic curiosity.

The installation provides a unique interaction between light, sound, and the environment, evoking sensory memories and connections. It draws attention to the delicate interplay between language and the ephemeral qualities of time, ultimately encouraging visitors to reflect on their own experiences and perceptions.
