NOK and Fukushima United FC Partnership: A Commitment to the Local Community
NOK Corporation, headquartered in Tokyo's Minato Ward and led by CEO Masao Tsur, has decided to extend its partnership with Fukushima United FC for another five years. This collaboration is particularly significant as it enters the
2026 Special Season of the Meiji Yasuda J2 and J3 Leagues. With NOK's logo prominently displayed on the team's uniforms, located on the chest area, this partnership emphasizes the company's continued investment in the local community through sports.
The Fukushima Prefecture has long been a crucial production hub for NOK, especially for oil seals, a product for which the company holds a leading market share in Japan. As part of its commitment to this region, NOK will establish
NOK Tohoku Corp. on April 1, 2026, consolidating its production companies to further strengthen its manufacturing capabilities and maintain the robust relationships it has developed over the years.
Since 2018, NOK has actively supported Fukushima United FC, engaging in community revitalization efforts and focusing on youth development through soccer. The company aims to create opportunities for children to develop a sense of belonging and attachment to the area, fostering a strong bond between the club and the local community in the process. This initiative is part of NOK's broader strategy to contribute to regional revitalization.
