The shade structure, which measures 98 feet by 60 feet, will provide essential relief from the scorching Arizona sun, enabling the community to utilize the facility year-round without severe heat interference.
During hot summer months, the existing concrete court often exceeds comfortable temperatures, leading to the cancellation of programs and practices. Coaches have had to move sessions to the evenings, making it difficult for some families to participate. The new shade unit will alleviate these issues, allowing for a more enjoyable experience for children’s activities and after-school programs.
