Celebrate Special Moments with Shangri-La Tokyo's Gift Offerings

As the season of gratitude approaches, Shangri-La Tokyo invites guests to celebrate Mother's Day and Father's Day with exquisite gifts available for purchase at The Boutique by Shangri-La, located on the first floor of the hotel. Starting April 25, the hotel will offer its signature Carnation Cake for Mother's Day, while the Himalayan Blend Tea Opera will be available from June 6 for Father's Day.

The adored Carnation Cake, renowned for its eye-catching floral decoration resembling pink petals, is back this year with a perfect size for 2 to 4 people. This cake, with a diameter of 12 cm, provides a lovely centerpiece for family gatherings to express heartfelt gratitude in a delightful sweets experience.

The cake features a luscious strawberry shortcake base that is soaked in almond syrup, creating a moist sponge texture. This is complemented by rich whipped cream and the tanginess of strawberries, achieving an exquisite balance of flavors. Each pink petal decoration crafted in white chocolate not only enhances the cake's appearance but also adds a special touch to the occasion, ensuring a memorable sweets time with loved ones.

For Father's Day, guests can look forward to the charming Himalayan Blend Tea Opera. This unique dessert is designed to reflect the elegance of a gentleman’s attire, modeled on a shirt and tie. Featuring a whimsical yet sophisticated design, it promises to enhance the celebratory spirit of the day.

The Himalayan Blend Tea Opera consists of delicately layered hazelnut joconde soaked with Shangri-La Tokyo's exclusive Himalayan blend tea. This is matched with a fragrant tea-flavored ganache and buttery cream, creating a moist and complex taste experience. The harmonious blend of rich tea aroma and nutty fragrances offers a delightful finish with each bite, presented in a refined 12 cm square format, perfect for gifting.
