Special Talk Show Featuring Nicole Ishida at Okayama University

Okayama University is hosting a special event titled "Dream Exhibition" from October 22 to November 24, 2025. This exhibition showcases approximately 70 dreams created by students, inspired by a series of dialogues with global leaders. As part of the program, Nicole Ishida, a well-known model and actress, will give a special talk on the final day of the exhibition, November 24.

The event is part of the multi-cultural co-learning program supported by the Japanese Ministry of Education, aimed at fostering social impact through internationalization at universities. Okayama University's Global Engagement Center has initiated this project to cultivate sustainability leaders by offering liberal arts education courses such as "Solving Global Issues Through Work". Global leaders have been invited to share their experiences and dreams, prompting in-depth discussions among students. This interaction has led to the creation of the “Dreams of Okayama Students” exhibition.

The talk show will take place at the Okayama University Co-creation Commons (OUX), located at the Tsushima Campus in Okayama City. The event is scheduled for November 24 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, and entrance is free. Ishida will engage with attendees, particularly university and high school students, offering insights and encouragement to pursue their own dreams with passion.

Nicole Ishida, born in 1990, is not only recognized for her work in modeling, films, dramas, and musicals but also has certifications in diving and skin diving. Her commitment extends to coral protection activities and women's wellness, as she actively pursues knowledge in the field. She will bring her wealth of experience to encourage younger generations to take their first steps toward realizing their dreams.

The "Dream Exhibition" is located in the Murata Academia on the second floor of the Okayama University Central Library, and visitors can view the display during library hours. The entire community, including students and faculty of Okayama University as well as local residents, is invited to participate in this enriching experience.

For those wishing to attend, registration is available through a Google Form linked on the Okayama University event page. While there's no formal application deadline, pre-registration is encouraged to ensure participation.
