Exploring Human Connections at SHIBUYA PARCO's 'PERSON' Event in 2026

Dive into the 'PERSON' Experience at SHIBUYA PARCO

From March 13 to 22, 2026, the renowned SHIBUYA PARCO is set to host an innovative event titled 'PERSON,' aiming to celebrate and explore human connections in a variety of forms. This initiative focuses on individuals, communities, and the creative expressions born from human interactiveness. Visitors can engage in various activities, including interviews, events, and art displays that delve into the very essence of what connects us as humans.

The atmosphere will be uniquely enriched by the music of the legendary Ryuichi Sakamoto, as his melodies will grace the venue throughout March and April. Notable artists have been selected to curate playlists that reflect different moments of the event, enhancing a wholesome auditory experience for attendees. On March 16, a special program featuring Sakamoto will be aired by SUPER DOMMUNE, allowing a deeper appreciation of his work.

In conjunction with 'PERSON,' a new hybrid space called 'NONLECTURE books/arts' will open on March 13 in the basement level of SHIBUYA PARCO. Managed by the highly acclaimed Taku Mochida, the space will offer a dynamic venue for books, art, exhibitions, products, and events, encouraging visitors to immerse themselves in various forms of creativity.

In addition, there's excitement surrounding the debut of a new venture from 'Torahebi Coffee,' introducing 'Torahebi Cacao,' a chocolate brand inspired by the essence of freedom and creative exploration. This new brand will offer a distinctive variety of products, such as almond chocolates infused with aged blends from their coffee roots.

Moreover, fashion enthusiasts can look forward to the debut of women's brand 'FETICO,' which will showcase an array of stylish items at a pop-up shop within the venue. An upcoming interview with the brand's designer, Emi Funayama, will provide insights into the brand's unique creative philosophy and focus.

On the cinema front, a special pop-up shop will be launched to coincide with the release of A24's latest film, 'Marty Supreme: Grab the World.' Unique merchandise and immersive installations will be available exclusively at this event, providing fans with a rare opportunity to dive into the film's imaginative universe.

Visitors can also discover 'PROJEKT PRODUKT,' a South Korean eyewear brand that merges the artistry of design with optical precision, making it a standout choice among fashionable consumers.

As part of the event lineup, a series of talks and interactive sessions will unfold, featuring guests like Naoto Jibai from VCM and vintage clothing enthusiasts discussing their journeys and relationships with fashion. A special anniversary reception for GANNI will also be held, celebrating their first year at SHIBUYA PARCO.

Through vibrant visuals created by generative artists Chih-Yu Chen and Ayumu Nagamatsu, 'PERSON' will explore the dialogues and connections between cultures and creativity, displaying artwork that stimulates conversations about technology and artistry.

In what promises to be an unmissable cultural celebration, SHIBUYA PARCO’s 'PERSON' event will not only highlight the multiplicity of human experiences, but also demonstrate how interconnectedness transcends various forms of expression, including art, fashion, and music. As the initiative unfolds through various activities, guests can look forward to a unique journey that emphasizes the power of human relationships in our rapidly changing world.
