Esaote Group Unveils Innovative Solutions in Ultrasound and MRI at ECR 2026

Esaote Group, a prominent player in medical imaging technology, is set to display its cutting-edge innovations at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) 2026, taking place from March 4 to 8 in Vienna, Austria. The company, which specializes in fields such as ultrasound imaging, dedicated magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and medical IT, aims to reinforce its commitment to providing radiologists with the tools needed for precise diagnoses and improved patient care outcomes.

On March 5, Esaote will officially present its state-of-the-art ultrasound systems, the MyLab™E85 GTS and MyLab™C30 GTS Edition, at its booth in the expo hall. These systems are engineered specifically for interventional radiology, emphasizing the importance of ultrasound in executing safe and effective procedures. Marta Daniel, the GTS Product and Clinical Solutions Manager at Esaote, stated, "With these new ultrasound systems, our goal is to give interventional radiologists the most reliable and intuitive tools to support every phase of their procedures."

The MyLab™E85 GTS stands out for its advanced imaging technologies that facilitate accurate diagnoses and exceptional needle visualization. Enhanced interventional guidance is supported by the Virtual Navigator feature, allowing real-time multimodality fusion imaging, which proves essential for successful navigation during procedures. Additionally, the built-in Ablation Confirmation Suite enhances treatment verification, establishing ultrasound as a valuable alternative to CT-guided interventions.

Similarly, the MyLab™C30 GTS Edition enhances the ultrasound experience by providing remarkable imaging capabilities in a compact and portable unit. This system offers innovative features such as contrast-enhanced imaging and shear-wave elastography, providing flexibility across various clinical environments.

In addition to its advancements in ultrasound technology, Esaote will also introduce groundbreaking MRI innovations at the conference. The company reveals its HyperSpeed AI module, which effectively reduces MRI scan times without compromising image quality, thus driving efficiency in diagnostic imaging. Accompanying this, the M-Score software solution facilitates a quantitative assessment of bone health through opportunistic screenings during routine lumbar spine MRI exams.

A dedicated workshop titled "Beyond Images: Driving Clinical Value in MRI through AI Technologies," led by experts from the University of L'Aquila, will explore these enhancements in further detail on March 6.

Moreover, Esaote's subsidiary specializing in Healthcare IT, Ebit, will showcase the latest version of SUITE-TENSA, a platform for enterprise imaging in radiology. This updated version includes advanced AI-enabled workflow orchestration and structured reporting that is fully integrated into daily clinical practices, significantly improving efficiency and data governance while allowing clinical staff to retain control over their workflows.

With over 1,300 employees, half of whom are situated in Italy, Esaote operates from facilities in Genoa and Florence. The company has established itself as a leader in the medical imaging space, boasting a presence in more than 100 countries worldwide. Esaote's innovations at ECR 2026 reinforce its position at the forefront of healthcare technology, dedicated to enhancing the quality and efficiency of medical imaging and patient care.

As the ECR 2026 approaches, medical professionals and attendees can look forward to Esaote's contributions toward revolutionizing diagnostic imaging practices through innovation and commitment to patient-centered care.
