Ontario International Airport (ONT) continues its upward trajectory in passenger traffic, celebrating nearly a 2% rise in the number of travelers for May 2025, marking the 51st consecutive month of year-over-year growth. In total, 630,137 passengers were recorded last month, which reflects an increase of 1.9% compared to the same month in 2024.

In terms of domestic travel, ONT recorded 591,336 travelers, which is an increase of 1.6% from the previous year. Conversely, the number of international travelers has seen a more substantial increase of 5.8%, totaling 38,801. This consistent growth in both domestic and international sectors is indicative of the airport's increasing popularity as a travel hub.
Growth in Passenger Numbers
During the first five months of 2025, Ontario International Airport served nearly 2.7 million travelers, representing a 0.8% increase over the corresponding period in 2024. Specifically, domestic passenger volume grew by 1.1%, showcasing the airport's strength in servicing local travelers.
