Experience the Exclusive Nishikawa Cocktail Week with Don Julio at Benjamin Steakhouse
The renowned Benjamin Steakhouse in New York is set to showcase a unique collaboration with the luxury tequila brand Don Julio 1942. From February 16 to March 7, 2026, four Benjamin Steakhouse locations in Japan—Roppongi, Kioicho, Kyoto, and Osaka—will offer exclusive cocktails that embody the winter magic of Niseko.
This special initiative, titled "Don Julio 1942 NISEKO Cocktail Week in Tokyo," marks the first time the brand's enchanting atmosphere, normally experienced at their pop-up events in Hokkaido, will be accessible in Tokyo. Each cocktail presented will reflect the aesthetic and experience derived from Niseko's renowned snow resort, paired with the luxurious display typical of Don Julio 1942.
The cocktails on offer were crafted by Toshiro's Bar owner Ryoki Toshiro, who drew inspiration from Niseko's wintery landscapes. Guests can look forward to four exclusive creations that showcase not only Don Julio 1942 but also other varieties from the tequila line, all served in the sophisticated ambiance of Benjamin Steakhouse. This initiative invites guests to indulge in a taste of the winter wonderland of Niseko even in the bustling cityscape.
In classic American steakhouse fashion, enjoying a drink at the bar before or after dining is a cherished experience. Benjamin Steakhouse embraces this tradition and aims to introduce diners to this delightful way of enjoying their meal through this collaboration with Don Julio.
The exceptional pairing of the rich flavors of steak with the deep notes of Don Julio 1942 promises an unforgettable "Niseko Winter Experience." Here are the details of the exclusive cocktails available during this limited-time event:
Exclusive Cocktail Menu
- - YUKIKABE 1942: Priced at ¥4,500
- This cocktail is inspired by the famous "snow wall" of Niseko. Combining Don Julio 1942 with agave syrup for sweetness, lime for sharpness, and a hint of Hokkaido's wasabi and crispy sea salt, it offers a refreshing smokiness.
- - NISEKO Powder Berry: Priced at ¥2,750
- A cocktail featuring powdered sugar and dried strawberries layered like freshly fallen snow. It harmonizes the barrel notes of Don Julio Reposado with the acidic undertones of cassis and lemon, creating a delightful flavor profile reminiscent of Niseko's powder snow.
- - Winter Lantern: Priced at ¥2,200
- This drink visualizes a lantern glowing among the snowy landscapes with grenadine syrup settled at the bottom. Combining the bitterness of Aperol with the refreshing scents of jasmine tea and the crisp acidity of pink grapefruit, it presents a unique winter experience.
- - Don Julio 1942 (Straight): Priced at ¥2,500
Bar counters in the Roppongi and Kyoto locations will also serve these exquisite cocktails.
Benjamin Steakhouse opened its doors in Manhattan in 2006, the result of a partnership between Benjamin Prokay and Benjamin Sinanaj—seasoned steakhouse veterans from Brooklyn—along with esteemed chef Arturo McCread. They specialize in USDA Prime Beef, meticulously aged in a dedicated aging facility, ensuring they serve steaks at their highest quality.
