Figma has gained widespread popularity among designers for its capabilities in wireframing, UI and graphic design, and prototyping. Not only does it allow for seamless collaboration, but it also facilitates easy sharing of feedback among team members, making it an essential tool in web and game development environments.

As projects grow larger, maintaining consistent naming conventions can pose challenges. Different team members might use various naming methods, leading to confusion. In this seminar, we will tackle these common issues and share effective strategies for naming governance. Cassie, a Senior Digital Product Designer and the Head of the Friends of Figma London Group, will guide participants through the dos and don'ts of naming rules using specific examples. This is an excellent opportunity for those eager to implement these techniques into their workflows immediately.

To benefit fully from the session, we recommend attendees create a free Figma account prior to joining. It is also beneficial to have access to two devices: one for viewing the seminar on Zoom and another for practical activities.
