FamilyMart, based in Minato, Tokyo, has announced the addition of a new beige color to its original apparel brand, 'Convenience Wear'. This new color will be available for the sought-after 'Zip-up Jacket' and 'Jogger Pants' starting January 23, 2026, at approximately 16,400 FamilyMart outlets nationwide.

Since its launch in 2021, 'Convenience Wear' has been developed in collaboration with renowned fashion designer Hiroshi Ochiai, promoting the slogan 'Good Material, Good Technology, Good Design'. It has made waves in the fashion world, offering quality clothing that is easily accessible at convenience stores, creating a new shopping culture.

The 'Zip-up Jacket' made its debut in the Spring/Summer 2025 collection, proving to be a hit among consumers. The matching 'Jogger Pants' have also been a hit, helping to enrich outfit options for customers, with sales surpassing 150,000 units combined. The introduction of the new beige color aims to provide even more options for stylish layering, perfect for pairing with T-shirts and socks to complete a total look.

About Hiroshi Ochiai



Hiroshi Ochiai, a fashion designer born in Tokyo in 1977 and a graduate of Bunka Fashion College, launched 'FACETASM' in 2007. He has since won numerous awards, including the Newcomer Award and the Grand Prize at the Mainichi Fashion Awards. Notably, he created attire for the flag handover ceremony at the closing ceremony of the Rio 2016 Olympics and continues to showcase collections at Paris Men's Fashion Week. He has collaborated with international brands including NIKE, Coca-Cola, and LEVI'S.
