On February 24, 2026, a culinary collaboration between Lawson and Japan Airlines (JAL) will launch twelve enticing new products. Premium Roll Cakes

The highlight of the collaboration is the introduction of eight unique premium roll cakes, each crafted to showcase local ingredients and flavors from across Japan. Seven JAL flight attendants, who are well-versed in local specialties, spent nearly ten months developing these products. Each cake embodies the essence of its region, utilizing ingredients such as Haskap from Hokkaido, Kito Yuzu from Tokushima, and black sugar from Tarama Island. Additionally, regional delicacies like Akita's famous “Babahera Ice” and Osaka's cherished “Mixed Juice” inspire several cake creations.

Fried Foods

The partnership also includes three fried foods: the beloved “Karaage-kun,” “L-Chiki,” and “L-Kara.” These items will reflect the flavors of JAL's long-time favorite “Onion Consomme Soup,” developed by JAL's in-flight meal team. To celebrate this launch, JAL will also serve this soup on all domestic flights from February 24 to March 31, ensuring that customers can enjoy a taste of their flying experience even on the ground.

Unique Snacks

Completing the lineup is a special collaboration snack—a gummy blend featuring JAL's popular “Sky Time” beverage alongside UHA Mikakuto's chewy “Kororo” gummies. This offering promises a unique texture and flavor that embodies the spirit of both brands.
