Background of the Program

In Japan, public middle school sports activities are undergoing significant reforms, transferring control to local sports clubs and instructors. Fukuchiyama United’s Development

Fukuchiyama United was established as a comprehensive community sports club, taking the lead in middle school sports reforms in Fukuchiyama City since April 2023. The club kicked off with initiatives in boys’ soccer and mixed basketball, now boasting 13 teams across four sports, with approximately 260 participants. Recently, the club has expanded its focus on female athletes, inaugurating the U12 girls' soccer team
