Forbes Travel Guide Unveils 2025 Hotel Star Bars

On June 9, 2025, Forbes Travel Guide (FTG), the global authority on luxury hospitality, revealed its highly anticipated list of the 2025 Hotel Star Bars. This exclusive selection highlights 58 of the most exceptional hotel bars across the globe, recognized for their outstanding cocktail artistry, quality service, and remarkable guest experiences.

The rigorous selection process covered 19 countries, reflecting FTG's commitment to trusted and anonymous evaluations. Each of the Star Bars was chosen based on assessments from the FTG 2024 and 2025 Star Ratings. FTG’s inspectors, who operated incognito, visited over 1,500 hotels worldwide to evaluate factors such as service quality, ambiance, and drink offerings. This year’s list celebrates the legacy of FTG, originally known as the Mobil Travel Guide, which was established in 1958.

Interestingly, independent hotels led the way with nine winners, with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts not far behind, claiming eight starred bars. Notable brands like The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, and Rosewood Hotels & Resorts each proudly contributed five bars to the list.

• - Le Bar Américain at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo: A jazz venue straight from the 1930s, admired by icons like Josephine Baker and Lady Gaga.
• - BKK Social Club at the Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River: This bar merges Buenos Aires' atmosphere with unique agave-based cocktails.
• - Scarfes Bar at Rosewood London: A creative cocktail bar inspired by the artwork of British caricaturist Gerald Scarfe.
• - Library by the Sea at Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa in Grand Cayman: This innovative bar reimagines classic literature through the lens of mixology.
