Diver-X Introduces Innovative Melt Mouse for Creators

Diver-X Unveils the Melt Mouse

Diver-X Inc., based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, has officially announced the launch of its first product under the general interface brand named Melt Interface: the Melt Mouse. This high-performance mouse has been developed in collaboration with Ryohei Kamada, a gadget influencer and designer who brings a creative perspective to the tech world. The Melt Mouse is set to revolutionize how creators interact with their devices.

Starting from October 28 at 19:00 JST, worldwide pre-orders will kick off on Kickstarter. Early supporters can register their interest at Kickstarter.

“Experience your hands totally Melt with your computer.”

A Perfect Blend of Beauty and Functionality

While many mice on the market are user-friendly, they often compromise on design. On the flip side, beautifully designed devices frequently sacrifice usability. The Melt Mouse seeks to eliminate these compromises, offering a product that boasts both sophisticated aesthetics and professional functionality. This unique interface is the new proposition for creators in the tech space.

Redefining Clicks

The Melt Mouse challenges traditional interactions by eliminating the concept of a button entirely. Instead, it redefines the act of clicking using advanced haptics technology that replicates the sensation of pressing a button without mechanical noises. This innovative design ensures a more refined click experience, mirroring the tactile feedback of a physical wheel while allowing users to customize the weight and feel of their clicks.

One Device, Multiple Functions

The Melt Mouse seamlessly merges the functionalities of a mouse, trackpad, and numeric keypad into a single device. Its main features include:
  • - Instantly switch between mouse, trackpad, and keypad modes. Tap or long-press to toggle modes at your convenience.
  • - High-resolution sensors allow for natural inputs, such as trackpad swipes and two-finger gestures, without leaving the keyboard.
  • - In keypad mode, 12 LED lights illuminate the device, transforming it into a keypad capable of assigning shortcuts for tasks such as image or video editing, enhancing overall efficiency.

Customization at Your Fingertips

With the dedicated app Melt Studio, users can customize click weight, scrolling feedback, mode-switch operations, and gesture shortcuts. Profiles tailored for design software like Photoshop, Blender, and Premiere Pro can be saved, enabling seamless transitions between workflows. The Melt Studio software empowers users to tweak the click weight and adjust haptic feedback strength as desired.

Aesthetic Excellence

Crafted from CNC machined aluminum and featuring a curved tempered glass top, the Melt Mouse combines functionality with beauty. After over ten prototypes, it has evolved to deliver the finest texture for comfortable use. The MagSole bottom incorporates a detachable magnetic design, optimizing friction and ensuring smooth movements across the desk as well as secure stops when needed. Every design element serves both practical and aesthetic purposes.

Key Specifications

The Melt Mouse will officially launch on Kickstarter at 19:00 JST on October 28, offering a special pre-order early bird price of ¥34,500 (limited quantity), with a Kickstarter special price of ¥37,500 and a standard price of ¥42,000.
